Mmmmmm - maybe the head up or down a lil ? At moment it looks like he's about to drive horn into back of the neck of 3 ? Also , I'm not sure about the tail. Having no tails visible on first 3, then last 2 makes it look a lil ?unbalanced?. Maybe if the tail of #4 was lower ? The legs flow very nicely
I am not going to be a lot of help cause I don't know to really put what I want to say into words, let alone offer any useful suggestons. Maybe someone else can spot what I am getting and can do a better job expressing it. Basically, the sense of motion that I get when I look at this seems disjointed. I would think I should feel a rush or flow of motion. I picture the unicorn as a graceful creature, so the sense of movement you want to convey should be smooth, harmonious, even almost dreamlike IMHO. I think it is the legs - perhaps the spacing or the posing of the legs that bugs me most. I guess what I am trying to say is if you approached this sort of as a stop frame animation, starting with the rear horse, and animated its movements forward to the first horse, then froze the frame changes in between as examples of the poses needed for the horses in between, you would have at sense of fluid motion from one unicorn to the next. Not exactly what I am suggesting, but close. Best I know how to say it though. Probably just confusing you. Explaining concepts in my head has always been hard for me. I know what I mean, I just do not know how to say it so someone else can follow.

Well, the change you made seemed to work as I like this one much better. On my comments - you definitely do not want static and you do not want a sense of confusion. So, that approach is out. What you have here does have a nice sense of flow, so apparantly GreyTower was spot on as to what was needed. I am not good at visualizing things in my head. I need to see it on paper, then I do better. I could not see the difference the change in 4 and 5 would make in my head, but I see it now. This does seem to work. The legs no longer bug me and the movement does not seem disjointed to me.
Daio, I certainly wasn't much help. I don't think I was very observant yesterday. It had been a long day and I clearly was not tracking well. Looking at this thread again with fresh eyes, I see a lot more details in the earlier versions I missed as well as misunderstood. Nevertheless, I believe you pulled it off, this last version looks really fab to me. :O)
