Subject: Tutorial? - It's not what you think.

Hey guys/girls, I'm doing a little web work, and I wanted to try to work on my HTML. So I was thinking I could put up a tutorial on something to do with Carrara. I don't know how to shade as well as, say, Mark, but I can hold my own in most other areas. SO what would you all like to see done? I figure a lot of newbies to Carrara would like to see some of the "basics", since there aren't that many Carrara tutorials out there. Lemme know. Hoborg

I am A newbie to 3d modeling.I bought carrera to try my hand at making objects in the vertex modeler. I've been A metal smith for 17 years and have no problem creating with my hands. But I just can't seem to grasp how to create A complex object in the vertex modeler. So I would love to see A (hold my hand type) of tutorial on the vertex modeler.

Hi Hoborg! How about a simple tutorial on making a realistic fork in the spline modeler? thanks

I like siva's idea, actually. I'm not opposed to the others, but I think it's one of the things that people need to know, cause the spline modeller is fairly difficult to learn, but also invaluble once learned. I'll keep all ya's posted. Peace, Hoborg

my 2 cents: Vertex vertex. Im carting around my Carrara Bible in hopes it will sink it... maybe it is but it is slow going - a nice step by step would be cool if anyway
