Apologies to everyone for being scarce both here and in the gallery..... I'm very bogged down with life outside of this place and I feel very badly about it. I hope no one thinks I am ignoring them.... :~( I'm still checking IM's but no time for much else I'm afraid. Working on another project and just wanted to share these couple of images quickly. These are part of a final project for school which may or may not be included in the contents of what I hand in. I spent most of the day yesterday in the darkroom and these are scanned prints. What will result at the end is a hand crafted book. And a dry mounted print. This first image is the result of painting on developer with a paper towel, solarizing and then redeveloping the entire print.

I am, therefore I create.......

This second is the almost the same process...but with selective developing.... placed immediately into stop bath and then fixer.

I am, therefore I create.......

The third.... selective developing.... no solarization. Initial exposure in darkroom was at done with a 3 1/2 filter to attain high contrast...

I am, therefore I create.......

Outstanding work! I am very impressed. I particularly like the last one for I can see your wings better. But being the dark toned lover I am the first appeals to me on a different level. However I do love them all! You are an outstanding artist! Magick Michael
