Subject: when will I ever learn to leave it alone when it's working?

I upgraded my vue pro with the beta 4.53-02 on my mac G4 and since then vue keeps crashing, and another thing that now doesn't work is when I force quit (yes it won't just quit - spinning ball thingy) it endevours to restore the crash scene but then it won't read it. All these things were working before. Yes, I know, I should write to eon, but I get so tired of all that. Love esther

Esther, can you give a little more detail when that happens? So that i can try it here as well. Are you sure you do exactly the same things than before? I had a problem too but found out it is an old one and well known at E-on. I only bumped into that only now. Had to do with symmetric terrains - before you ask.

Hey Walther! well the terrains weren't symetric. What I think I did, was brought Mr Freak in as an object. Just created one terraine and some water. PUt a light behind the camera, and selected no shadows. Then did a test render, then hit escape, then probably tried to move the light while the little preview render was rendering. It was probably too quick for vue or something, but the worst thing is it doesn't save my scene anymore, even though it tries. Love esther ps I did it again but brought the figure in last, and this time it didn't crash. But it happened 3-4 times before that.
