Hi, Its me again..hehe I recently noticed that there is a photography section now...wich by the way...is cool :) But now all the 3D and Photographs are all mixed. I know I can search like in the "poser" section...or the "bryce" section. But what was cool before...is the the section "All" was pretty much only 3D stuff. So my suggestion is...to have a new section that I could click called "3D art" that would have all the thumbnails of only the 3D stuff (poser, bryce, vue...etc...) Can it be done? :) Solo22 http://poser22.tripod.com solo22@citenet.net

I think that is a good idea. At the same time I think that is a bad idea. Why it is good is for obvious reasons of organization/ and sorting and putting everyone in the right little box. Thats why it is also a bad idea. It helps breed intolerance. Oh I can't even be bothered to have to look at the art other than exactly what I am looking at. Forgeting in essence that photographs are great for inspiration, lighting and composition understanding. Do we really want to have a community of segragated artists. One's who are bigoted against photography or others against 3d in the name of quick access and organization. I really don't know the answer to this question myself. Except I stil enjoy seeing ALL the art each time I come here. Esp because some of the artists do multiple artfields as well and I like to get a real feel for them in all there talents. Anyways...enough rambling from me but I though I should put in my .02cents CDN. Peace and Creativity Chris

Hi ARADTech, I agree with you. And I do browse the "all" section sometimes to see all sorts of stuff. But sometimes I like to pin point whats new in the "3D art". without having to browse through the whole thing. I really like all the other 2D stuff...and the new photography section. But I just thought it would be cool to have a section to gather up all the 3D stuff. I just find myself a little mislead sometimes by thinking theres a really cool bryce image...and it turns out to be a photograph. another solution would be to have the "image type" writen under the thumbnail. But there is already quite a bit of stuff under the thumbnail as it is....thats why I suggest to have a "3D art" section button along with the current "poser, bryce, vue...." buttons btw...you could still look at all the art mixed up together by clicking the "ALL" section...so it wouldn't really change anything for the person wanting to see everything. :) just my 3cents...wich also happens to be canadian..hahha :) Solo22 http://poser22.tripod.com solo22@citenet.net

Solo22, what about putting the gallery section under the thumbnail if I can manage to not crowd things too much? Would that make "What's New" a little easier to browse?

The Gallery name is now under the thumbnail. I've also rearranged the information under the thumbnail. Basically, raising the artist's name up there with his (or her) work. Let me know what you think.

Yes!!...its great rcook...Thanks This way I know what I'm getting into before I click a thumbnail. If I had a High-Speed Connection...I wouldn't mind clicking everything...but with a 56k...it helps alot to know what type of image I'm going to be looking at :) Thanks again rcook!! :) Solo22 http://poser22.tripod.com solo22@citenet.net
