Place your votes in this thread. Please follow the voting instructions.... Vote for 3 different images. Vote by name NOT by number. Select your choice by position, 1 being the best or "gold", 2 being the second best or "silver" and 3 being the third best or "bronze". I would expect to see the following style in your thread... 1 = Bob 2 = Rob 3 = Nob I will add up the points at the end on Thursday night and calculate on a spreadsheet who has the most points. The most points, gold, will chose the theme for the next challenge in May. Ok, go for it.

1 = kassad 2 = Melory 3 = Diaxus2 Now I need to explain something... :) Predatron's image is stunning. Truly. I think it is an amazing piece of work. But... it is so heavily postworked that I kind of hesitate to put it as the top Poser image. The poser part is almost untracable. Sorry Predatron, just wanted to explain why I skipped this truly amazing image. Kassad - I love the mood. The softness and concentration in her face... the lighting... lovely. :) Melory - I love the idea of this image! A face says a lot - but you managed to say it all... with her legs :) Diaxus2 - LOL You made me think of Iron Maiden. Bruce Dickinson used to have that stance a lot. Great use of the scene props too! I expect to see Eddie next!

First... if the instrument was facing the wrong way(!) or the fingers weren't even on it or it was held incorrectly, I discounted it. Just plopping an instrument into somebody's vicinity does not make them a musician (or else we'd all be at Carnegie Hall!). Second, I'm not impressed with number of characters or how long somebody said they spent working on it... that is like awarding a costume prize to somebody who claims they put 3000 studs into the jacket... when the tailoring is faulty. Third, no matter how busy or how simple a scene... it must still have focus, and that focus ought to be upon the music given this month's theme. My choices: 1) melory She caught the attitude (and I don't even like country music). Simple and evocative and clean. Minimalism is much harder than filling a scene. 2) Diaxus2 It feels right, the instruments are held correctly, there is visceral impact. 3) Shadowdancer This has some technical faults (which a spot of postwork would have helped), but it tells a story, I love the poses, and the mood of engagement is wonderful. 3 Predatron 2 Aishai 1 Kassad Man voting is hard, even though Predatron had a lot of post work done it was still the most stunning image in there. Aishai had a great one two but it was a toss up between Aishai and Kassad. Sorry Kassad you lost the coin flip so you only got 1.

What a disaster. I totally screwed up the way we vote and we need to start over. I'm so totally bad! Some of you did the traditional vote (which is correct) and some of you did what I said in the opening thread (which is incorrect). Its my fault. Let me get a mod to lock this thread and we'll start over with the correct method, which I promise to explain correctly. I'll extend the voting to fix it.
