Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

There was a thread with a similar question in the PC Members forum at DAZ (Things to use the $5 voucher on). In case your not a PC member here is the list of things that are < $5 that were mentioned :-

Code: ps_ac004
Price: $4.95

Uncle Sam
Code: ps_ch051
Price: $4.95

Biker Hat
Code: ps_ac370
Price: $4.95

Quarter
Code: ps_ac069
Price: $4.95

Banana
Code: ps_ac355

Ah thanks =). Kind of annoying that they chose to list that in the section designed for those that have access to items for 1.99.

There is also a unicorn horn prop. Just the prop, but rather nice.

well if you'd gotten the free magazine (ezine) from 3-D Arena today you would have gotten an additional 15% off at DAZ as well to add to that ;-)

Ooh - hadn't noticed that

nruddock ( ) posted Sat, 01 May 2004 at 4:15 PM

The orignal thread at DAZ related to Platinum Club vouchers, and somebody took the trouble to make a list after the topic of what could be bought just with the vouchers had cropped up a few times. Now I just need to track down why I didn't the 3-Arena ezine.

There's a brief special offer on at Daz, and if you were on their mailing list you'll know about it. Got a free cinema ticket this week, about three days before the local cinema changed owners, so I'm feeling a trifle cynical.

V3 morphing fantasy dress - PC price $ 1.99
Expansion pack for V3 MFD - PC price $ 1.99
She-freak for V3 - PC price $ 1.99
Millenium Girls $24.95
Millenium Girls - on sale 30% off -$ 7.47
PC 30% off discount -$ 5.24
Five Dollars off in May! -$ 5.00
Five Extra Dollars off in May! -$ 5.00
Monthly Voucher -$ 5.00
TOTAL $ 3.20

Yeah, but it cost me $7.95 to save that $27.71.
Go ahead, ask about last month, or the month before. I can look them up.

I don't use the voucher every month but when I do its worth it.
Besides, its $5 off, not one item free. They do that weekly.

xenic101 ( ) posted Mon, 03 May 2004 at 1:16 AM

Hang on, outside the Platinum Club; The Morphing Fantasy Dress is $29.95, The Expansion pack for the MFD is $14.95, and She-Freak is $29.95. Thats another $68.88 I've saved!!

Well in the mail I got they state, that you can't buy anything which is PC item..... "That's right! Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner, so we've decided to give everyone a $5 dollar coupon good on any non-Platinum item in the store! Enjoy five dollars off on any of the great new Super-Value Bundles available online, new releases or any non-Platinum Club item. It's your money, no other obligations or hassles whatsoever!" Are those items listed in #3 reply PC-items or non-PC-items?

nruddock ( ) posted Mon, 03 May 2004 at 6:37 AM

They're non-PC items, the orignal thread was about what to use PC vouchers on, which can't be used on Platinum items.
If in doubt about any item's status, the absence of a "P" on the thumbnail or the words "Platinum club price" is usually a dead give away.
