Same post but with the points switched. (And yes if they are supposed to be playing the instrument, they really need to have their fingers on it, AND it needs to be facing the right direction!) ************************************** First... if the instrument was facing the wrong way(!) or the fingers weren't even on it or it was held incorrectly, I discounted it. Just plopping an instrument into somebody's vicinity does not make them a musician (or else we'd all be at Carnegie Hall!). Second, I'm not impressed with number of characters or how long somebody said they spent working on it... that is like awarding a costume prize to somebody who claims they put 3000 studs into the jacket... when the tailoring is faulty. Third, no matter how busy or how simple a scene... it must still have focus, and that focus ought to be upon the music given this month's theme. My choices: 3) melory She caught the attitude (and I don't even like country music). Simple and evocative and clean. Minimalism is much harder than filling a scene. 2) Diaxus2 It feels right, the instruments are held correctly, there is visceral impact. 1) Shadow Dancer This has some technical faults (which a spot of postwork would have helped), but it tells a story, I love the poses, and the mood of engagement is wonderful. Carolly
3- MistDragon (LOVE the soft feel of this) 2- rose_chris (I really like the look on her face) 1- kassad (Love the color combinations) Great work everyone!
3 - Predatron 2 - Diaxus2 1 - Kassad

(3) 1st Choice: Predatron I love the effects of lighting and the way the images were each individually created in this image. Lovely! (2) 2nd Choice: kassad I love simple images and this one won my heart! Great job!! (1) 3rd Choice: MistDragon Another simple but very elegant image! Has such soft moods to it.
Very well deserved. Congratulations to the winners.

Ok, my bad. I totally screwed up the voting for the April Poser Forum Monthly Challenge! So, we're starting over from scratch. Voting will be from opening of this thread through Saturday night, May 1, 2004. This is 4 days of voting and I'm doing this to give folks time to get back here and revote after the great debocle of the 21st century. Here is how you must vote (the real deal this time). I tally them on a spreadsheet based on the points assigned and the most points is the winning image. So... You MUST select 3 different images. Please assign 3 points to your top image. 2 points to your next best image. 1 point to your third best image. Please vote by name, not by number. So, I expect to see the following example: 3-Bob 2-Rob 1-Snob I will then assign 3 points to "Bob" and 2 points to "Rob" and 1 point to "Snob" and after adding up all the points, will assign "Gold" to the person with the top number of points, "Silver" to the next highest number and "Bronze" to the third highest. I will pick the next in line for "Honorable Mention". Please follow the above format because I confuse easily. Just give the points and name and follow the order I set above. Make whatever comments you like to help us or congradulate us. Remember, this is a challenge not a contest, so we hope to better ourselves with this process. The theme is: A person playing any instrument or a band or listening to some CDs or something like that. Anything to do with music. Old records playing, dancing...etc. Imported models, postwork, ok. MUST have at least one person in the scene. Ok, best wishes and I'm so sorry about the booboo. I'll post a picture of my cyberself eating a hat, ok?
