I've been messing around with poser 5 for about a week now, been doing loads of tutorials etc, i just about got the basics down but theres one thing i cant quite get. Clothes, how in the name of greek buggery do you get them to fit? dynmaic clothing i can use but they go all out of shape when i move the character, the conforming clothes always show patches of the figure its conformed to, like in the picture. I can sometimes get it to look okay by adjusting the sizes and pretty much turning dials for hours on end but it never looks quite right, is there an easier way? i've been looking for tutorials on making conforming clothes fit but they all seem to skip past this stage saying "you may need to fiddle a bit" so if anyone knows a good tutorial on this can you enlighten me, something Poser 5 specific would be great as well, almost all the tutorials about are for poser 3 and 4.

Dynamic stuff, I have no idea. Never yet used it, so I can't answer. Conforming clothes however, are a (usually) a doddle if you do the following: Load your figure. Add the clothes. Conform. They should (note - "should") follow the figure when you pose it. You may get some "poke through" but nowt as bad as your example above. Couple of things to note - You must use the correct clothes for your figure. Victoria 1 and 2 - and the original Stephanie - can share clothes. Michael 1 and 2 can share their clothes. Every other model has their own clothing. A heavily morphed model will often have problems with conforming clothes. You can get around it if the clothes have corresponding morphs to the model you're using. Otherwise, you can use a program such as The Tailor to transfer morphs to the clothes.

Just hightlight the clothing item, go up to the figures menu at the top and choose conform from the drop down. Make sure you set the conform target to the correct figure(Usually this means Figure 1)

I've found that sometimes conforming clothing sometimes moves out of place when you pose the figure but most times if you hit conform again after you've moved figure1 the clothing will go back into place. For parts that poke through no mater what, you can just make invisible by going into parameters and unticking the visible box. 8) Catlin

I'd also suggest Parenting the clothing to the figure's Body prior to Conforming. This will insure that any Body scale changes in the figure will also be applied to the slaved clothing figure.

Also ,IIRC, keep in mind that any MT's in the clothing figure will revert to their last Memorized/Restored state when the Conform command is applied. (youse-guys please correct me if I bungled that one... too lazy to go confirm)
