Subject: Question on animatiing

I have done some animations using both Vue/Move & Poser. The animation renders fine - but when I go to play the renderd animation in say...Realone or Quick Time. It wont play because they can't read PZ3 or Vue files. How do I go about changing the file type so that these will play? Thanks

When you render an animation you have to set up what type of file it's going to render to (.avi, .mov etc...) I'm not sure what you mean by rendering an animation to .pz3 or .vue files. When you render the animation it will create the appropriate video file someplace else, it doesn't reside in the .vue or .pz3 file. I'm not sure if that's what you're asking about. Could you clarify more if I'm wrong.

Rendered animations are saved in the Vue folder under "Animations". Have a look there. As nanotyrannus said, there are no pz3 extensions for Vue animations, but mov, avi, depending on the codec you have selected. Maybe have a look in the Vue Handbook to understand.

Thanks to both of you - I now understand where I was going wrong. John
