Does anyone from the UK who live in the midlands or in a short drive away, want to meet up to have a day out taking photos and discussing their photography? I live in Overseal South Derbyshire and am willing to travel. I am looking for people who like taking photos and are willing to share techniques, stories etc.. If you are interested either post here or IM me.

UK, and maybe within reach, but I'm still not fully recovered from breaking my leg, and I'm wary of a long drive. Northern end of Lincolnshire... There are some good things happening at Lincoln Castle in the summer, but parking nearby can be tricky.

There is a website for Lincoln Castle, and the link is for the events list. The Wars of the Roses were early Renaissance, centred on about 1460. The Civil War is ours, in the 1640s, not the American one.
