Subject: making poser clothes

Hi, I am an poser newbie and would like to know : What is the best way to make clothes? Recently i made some clothes via postwork with Photoshop, but is there a simple guide for making clothes in Poses? TIA Iraya

hoo boy..that's a Big subject. Usually you use a modelling program like Wings 3d, Lightwave, Maya, or 3ds Max, to create the clothing. It really depends on what you want to make; skintight stuff is fairly easy (you can just paint, like you did), things like flowing robes and dresses are a lot harder. (I haven't gotten much past helmets meself..;) Stay tuned, there's tutorials galore out there on how to do this..should study one one of these days..other people will post behind this with more specific info..

First question: will it be dynamic clothing for Poser 5, or conforming clothing for any version? Either way, some 3D modelling will be required, as pakled says. A good way to start is by modifying existing clothing. My tutorial at the link will give you some guidance as to the basics.
