It probably means there will not be any distortion on the textures and that the new UVS is better unwarped... I think they give a uvs to convert the original posette obj and then resave as the obj the new cr2 is connected to... She looks great! there is an other thread about her...Yes the UVMap looks very interesting. But how can you achieve that soft look with only a uvs? Can a UVS carry asubdivision information? I thought it was only mapping.

EP is so much softer and prettier. She's on my Wish List for sure! All those hard lines in the face have been reworked really well. I'd love to see some textures for her. Either way she's coming home with me. I still have all the old textures and clothing for her. In the other thread (maybe may 7th or 8th) there are instructions on how to convert the old textures to fit her new body.
The mapping looks cool... but I think what the vendor is talking about mainly is having smoothed the mesh with morphs so that the geometry interfears less with the texture... my experience is that the more detailed the geometry the less individuality in the texture comes through, the less detail there is in the geometry the more the individuality and sculpting of the texture comes through. Pasting your face on a P3 figure map works better then on a Millenium 3 figure map and it isn't just the ortho v. the UV mapping. I have long wanted someone with modeling skills to give us smoothe face mask that photos could be mapped to for simple portrataits,, with some basic expressions possible all the better, I have tried to make this several times myself without success. Maybe I will try again.
Well it looks like some morphing, especially on those pesky eyebrow bumps. The mapping is unwrapped much better ... but I still prefer a 2nd map for eyes. The maps look very similar in the head shape to v3 maps, and the bodyshape to v1 maps ..so some cut n paste should be possible for the bold :) the uvs carries the grouping and material zone, the cr2 has morphs and jp's and material settings. From the looks of the readme and such its 'some assembly required', but doing the UV transfer thing is really simple. hmmm counts pocket change Lyrra
However I think she can't have differnt grouping because it says she takes posettes morphs... I think the UVS a huge improvement to posette and in some points even V2... Many times I've wondered why should we have different maps for head and body since for best results body textures still need to be bigger!I think Eternal Posettes UVS takes advantage UVS space to the max and this is a great resources plus! However I agree that that eye texture and transparent parts should have different mapping.
Hi. The Zarabanda prop is a bust unfortunately, it is a pie plate parented to the face... unles you pose dead on you cant use it... even then there are problems... I have had more success with a modified ball prop or masks made from lo res poser figures but what I want is a nice symetrical but very smooth face mask with smooth eye and nose bulges to paste a face on so it can be viewed from a veriaty of angles... my attempts show the principal is good but I just can't model original mesh myself... mybe I should cloth room some stretchy fabric and then trim it now that I have P5? I think this Eternal Posette map is most excelent but I don't know if I can face making new maps! The price is sure nice though even for me! But ugh! I am addicted to Staale texture... use them even on re-mapped V2 from April. Ans I like everything on one map myself... easier to load. Is anyone going to distribute this texture adapting thingy to redo P4 textures to Eternal Posette?
I bought her yesterday. The template is a bit intimidating to me. After looking at some old textures from HappyWorld I don't have a clue on how to 'stretch/shrink' them to fit the template. There is a dial called '3DDream' and when I turned it she started looking like the original Posette... For $5.00 how can you go wrong? I'd gladly purchase her for an ace texturer if anyone is iterested. I don't imagine the texture artists would be that interested though. I can't imagine Stormi laboring over a five dollar product.

What exactely is that? Is it a remap of Posette or is an altered, remapped version? It states if comes with a cr2 but apparently no obj, so I can't see how it can be subdivided unless a UVS file can do that too? Also there are no textures, right? And none available? Also, and that's probably due to a language barrier, what does "From now on textures can be 100% visible in this new Posette (Eternal Posette)" mean? Aren't textures always 100% visible?
