My four-year-old did this today, totally unassisted. It represents the exception rather than the rule as far as her pieces go, but still...

that's awesome, who says talent isn't hereditary?! have you shown her bryce yet? :) drac

beems At this point she prefers ArtRage's interface and instant gratification.

Picasso, anyone? I wish i had that kind of talent NOW, let alone when i was four...lol Good work, Cameron!

Nice! It reminds me of the book the Artists Way, all about how children are the purest artists, because they dont judge their own work, to them its all good. Adults are too critical of their work, and it's never good enough.... Keep on painting! Great painting, I give it an "Excellent" rating.

Cameron, these are very pretty flowers. They look like the hyacinths I have in my garden. I would like to see some more of your work. ;)

If haven't already, put this pic up in the youth/children gallery (forgot what it's called, sorry).

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Holy cows Cameron, you did this all by yourself? This is just totally wonderful! You have great talent. I really love your colors and your flowers are just simply beautiful.

Ahhh... She already understands the style of the impressionists (or was that the post-impressionists?) As long as the kid keeps at it, she'll be pretty good by the time she gets out of elementary school.

This is excellent, interesting that Cameron likes Artrage, my daughter (also 4) loves Fireworks more then any other package, closely followed by the GIMP of all things :).

Hey...what's wrong with the GIMP? I use the GIMP...And I likes it.

Gog ( ) posted Mon, 17 May 2004 at 4:14 AM

I like the GIMP, it's great art package, I'm just surprised that a four year old likes it as much as she does, it's not exactly a pretty looking or simple UI.
