"I want to be what I was
when I wanted to be what I am now"
Thanks for the assist. I suppose it's time to put the squeeze on the checkbook. As for terminating the program: unfortunately this has been an ongoing problem since installing WinXP Home edition. (this is what I get for trying to be frugal) Though not all the time, I am finding myself terminating non responsive programs quite frequently. This is not limited to merely poser, but Photoshop, as well as Paint Shop & Windows Explorer. Hmmm, OS problem?
Damn, I can't imagine what it is then. I'm good about updating drivers, svc pks, defragging, etc. Anyhoo, I've ordered P5 & it should be here within the week. I've wanted to step up to the new version since it's release & now is as good a time as any, I suppose. As a side note: After ordering P5, I spent nearly six hours working in P4 last night & experienced no problems. Go figure. Thanks to all for the assist. Happy Rendering.
Do you fix the probelm yet, I got the same probelm, is that the real problem as someone metion above by "terminate Poser rather than quitting the program" ? 'cause I am more comfortable with poser 4.0.3, and I don't like to update it to higher version. let me know if you find a way to fixed, thank you so much.

I've been using Poser faithfully since 1998 and have been quite satisfied with what I feel, is a superior 3d figure rendering tool. However, I am currently up to my eye sockets in an art project which demands a hell of a lot of progress in what little time I have after work. Poser of course, has no concept of this and "feels" it is necessary to not allow certain objects to open unless I delete the corresponding .rsr file (which of course is regenerated each time I open a particular model). In complex scenes this is a royal pain in the butt, as I'm searching for five or six .rsr files. Is there a way around this, or am I doomed to a life of perpetually deleting rsr files?
