They are looking at the lamp. Saying more light is needed if one is to work there.
Art also needed on the walls.

For the chair: some of those things you can rest your arms on so it becomes an armchair.
Some plants...

she goes on and on as she walks away into the sunset...

Figured it wouldn't look as good as the examples you do.

Mine would be a slimmed box no more no less. :oP
But when you handle them boxes they turn in to all kinds of good looking designer stuff.
Sigh.. Will never be able to do that.

Hi Tiny, #1 - We can make them exact by using numbers ... (i.e., parameter dial values) + OR + #2 - We can do it without numbers and just use our eyes. What is your preference? cheers, dr geep ;=]
