Subject: Am I the only one? I can't be, can I? Baby Animals?

Hi! I inquired about this over at Daz too, but I'd like the most feedback on the subject as possible. I'm not a stupendous modeler and I don't know a lot about joints. So, I'm not really proposing I do this. I'm just wondering if there is an interest for baby animals and creatures out there and if there are brokered artists interested in making them. I wish there was a baby mildragon that matched the big mildragon, but baby style. A baby African Elephant would be great. A baby gorilla would be fun! A kitten for the milcat would be terrific. Etc. Am I the only one interested in baby animals and creatures? Could dynamic deformers be made to help baby-ify some of these creatures? Truthfully, I'm very desperate for a baby mildragon, but there are many other creatures and animals that I'd love to have baby versions of too. I'm kinda really super wanting a milkitten too. I'm soo glad they made a foal for the milhorse. Regards, Mab

Have you seen the Hatchling dragon at Daz? He's pretty cute. Doesn't work with the MilDragon maps though, unfortunately.

Baby elephant at DAZ. There are babies for the P4 animals around. Bloodsong has kittens at 3dmenagerie.com

I'd definitely be interested in more baby animals - a good start would be a kitten for the MilCat and a puppy for the MilDog. To tell you the truth I was disappointed that they didn't already come with one, at least the MilHorse had the Foal if you got the bundle set. I don't know if they'd have to be modelled from scratch or if morphing, resizing and fiddling with the JP's will do it - I just hope someone does - and if it is a new figure PLEASE maintain the same uvmap as the adult cat and dog :)

I would love to find a baby animal bundle out there some where. Giraffe, Gorilla, Monkey, Dogs, Cats, Tigers, Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Hippos....I'd just love to find something like that.

hmmm going from a morphing standpoint, I think it could be done. Would need a new cr2 with modified setup to work with the changed body proportions. Its something to think about. After all if I could turn the MayaDoll into a guy .. I think I can turn the Mildrag's bodyclock back a few centuries :) Lyrra

I have been studying kittens with the thought of morph/dailing the mil cat into kittens..but then my own real kitty got cancer and life has been a little distracting.. he takes a lot more care at the moment... but I will keep the kitten idea in mind.. I love cats so much, they would have to look very real! Lyne Lyne's Creations
