I'm working on this for a while ( this is not a poser model anymore, everything is postworked so far including face)...

How is the lightning and feel of it???

This is Bryce render with no sun or sky or any other effects, 32 point lights in 1/2 sphere configuration, soft shadows, linear fallof, volumetric...

Your suggestions are more then welcome ! :)

Thanks !

dude, i have to say, as lighting goes, it's perfect. then again a bit more couldn't hurt, given that i'm seeing this through a laptop screen. drac

Lighting looks good to me. Maybe turning it up a little bit and adding radiosity would enhance it.

CLICK!

The hairlight is nice. You might want to try to get and eyelight in too, and maybe a faint backlight to soften up the hard edge of her silliouette. You might even want to throw in another single radial to try for a bare bulb type of effect like this. Of course that's me working over a real photo. My partner in crime here is my buddy Eric. He does some really nice fine art photography, and can be reached through www.ericjacksch.com/contact.html if you're intersted.

uhhh huh huh huh boobies :-) Alittle more lighting would be good.

Maybe not more lighting. Maybe even less lighting. What I'm thinking, you could lower the light on the front and the side of the body, and then increase the lighting on the shoulder and face.

I might be inclined to concur with Erlik. I think that you have a very fine work going here.

There are 10 kinds of people: Those who know binary, and those who don't.

A whiner is about as useful as a one-legged man at an arse kicking contest.

Thank you guys for your input, but i really cannot go back to rendering it again, i already did too much postwork on it, i was just aiming on possible postwork tips and suggestions :)

Which is obviously more light, more color, more shading, more highlights, etc. About 10 - 15 minutes of noodling around... I could have done better but I'm working off the message image - here's a side by side - unfortunately, compressed all to hell to make the size limits *shrug*

I think I do. (Jeez, I had to resize to 98% AND crop this one down to get it in - a little scattered light adds 60k?)

No, I was actually thinking about more subtle changes in lite like this :

Well that's the difference - you use lite and I use light! That's still a big difference from the original and a huge improvement. We did essentially the same things because all I have to do is take my adjustment layers groups from 34% to 8% and you end up with this... I'm actually using less of a lighting differential and a smoother transition. I'm also using a gradient to the black background where it gets progressively, but subtly, less dense as it approaches the body. Comes down to a matter of taste...

Yep, i actually used one single light source in PaintShopPro, it worked good, i think, thanks for your help, buddy :)

ddruckenmiller ( ) posted Sun, 23 May 2004 at 12:13 AM

(Time limit's up?) For me, I still prefer the lighter version - you just made her too attactive not to bring out into the light. 8) Good job. I'll have to keep an eye out for your posts.

Kemal ( ) posted Sun, 23 May 2004 at 12:16 AM

Dunno, i just tought that I already did spend enough time on it, i think i'm gonna call it done, thanks again !!! :)

derjimi ( ) posted Sun, 23 May 2004 at 5:41 AM
