You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
The best time to upload a new file is just prior to a thunderstorm which results in a service outage. That way when you find that there is an error you can pace the floor for an hour before you can upload the correction. The corrected file (P5WillHobbit02.zip) is now available from the page.
I had forgotten that Poser 5 copies the figure's OBJ file to the character folder after a trip to the face room. I'd edited the geometry path to the clothing but not the figure. Sorry folks.
You want this for P4? .... next post :)
OK so you want it for Poser 4? Well OK .... now if you give a man a fish you feed him for a day. However if you teach a man to fish you feed him for life. The "fun" of this 3D stuff for me was that initially it was so impossibly difficult that I thought I'd never get the hang of it. But I did not give up, I took small steps. Lots and lots of small steps. So here is a small step for you. You have the clothing model and it is grouped into body parts. Where do you go from there? You have the P4 man, take him into your modeler and cut his leg off just above the knee ... ouch! Now take that leg and stick it up the pants leg. ..... OK thats a pretty big point in the right direction. Take it from there. I'll be happy as always to help if you get stuck.
Phil - P5 also does that when I create hybrids - say a MayaDoll/Vicki hybrid or such. And then if I move the cr2 or rename the folder or stuff like that, P5 can't find the blasted obj..... Extremely sily :o( I suppose the only solution is to edit the cr2 to point to another folder in Geom or whereever? And thanks for the cool little guy! :] Fish
