Subject: My Walkway

Well, I don't post very often but I think this one is better than the last one I put up so I thought I'd give it a show. I wanted to try to create a walk way that snakes through a park, etc.

It kinda of looks like he is running on stage and the trees and all are props that are part of the staging. Was that the look you were going for?

I think the picture is good and the idea great. But I also think the line between the grass and the path is too straight. Perhaps you should try other textures? A dirt/sand like texture could perhaps soften it up and then you can put patches of grass irrigularly over the path to make it look more natural. Also try to snatch some tree textures form the free-section - they are great for making the trees look natural....the default texture is not all that great. But actually I do like your picture anyway! :-)

Thanks. I can see how what you're saying would improve the picture. I'll have to look for some tree textures
