I hear ya! I've noticed that not many "POSERITES" (?) post in the Bryce forum and not many "Brycerians" (?) post in the poser forum...can't we all just get along? Anyhow I'm gonna make an effort to post here too. I don't want to waste ONE bit of our PRECIOUS FREE RESOURCE! WHO'S WITH ME!?! (ok so I'm tired and it's late and I'm annoyed I didn't get much poser time due to OT at work.) PAN~
Oh dear heavens. I downloaded "The Truth ..." last night. I went into the living room and played some QuakeII (N64)while it was downloading and when I came back found my girlfriend with her Jaw dropped and with a comatose look on her face as Wolverine's -ahem- strange rythmic girations had her glued to the computer moniter as wild unholy music blaired! I can't BELIEVE what I saw! HAHAHAHAHA...and the campy Batman & Robin style text boxes....hahahahaha..WHAM! BOFF! BOOF!! I will never view the X-Men the same way again....sigh. PAN~
Sadly no she is NOT the Phoenix (hold on I don't want her to see me type THAT!) but I must say that she is seeking therapy as of this afternoon. She feels you've warped her fragile lil' mind. She says she closes her eyes and all she can see is Wolvie's seductive love dance.... Perhaps in the future you might wish to place a warning label on your Animations. It would certainly keep the innocent from being warped. I grew up in a bad neighborhood and let me tell you...I made sure the windows and doors were ALL locked tight after I saw your animation...shudder PAN~ (Innocence lost- "so this is what it's like when the doves cry...")
Hmm...makes sense that animation CERTAINLY spelled DOOM for the X-MAN. hahaha.....can you imagine? What if Xavier had to mind meld (hey the vulcans ain't the only ones who can do that!) with Wolverine one day? Could you imagine the horror? Ooooh da HUMANITY! Say now that I've actually chatted with you a bit, may I ask you a question? In your animation "Roboscream" I was very impressed by the sound effects. Particularly the excellent "MuuuuRAAAAAHHHHHKIZZKIZZK" sound the robot made at the end (it's scream sound effect). If you wouldn't mind, where did you obtain them (the sound effects)? Or did you create them and if so, what software did you use? Also..and I know this is more than one question, What did you use to piece it all together? The sound, etc. I have Adobe Premiere 5.1 (actually the ups man has it and should have dropped it off at my door earlier TODAY since I paid extra to have it sent overnight) and as I've mentioned before..for all of my fooling around at the forum here, I am actually serious when it comes to my project (myself and several others are working on an actual game from scratch). So you can say that in the past few months I've spent quite a bit on software for this project. I was curious if you used any of these programs in your movies and if so which di d you find helpful and which did you find confusing. Thanks for taking the time to help me out with my questions.. PAN~ (Insane but with a good heart)
I got a godzilla cry off the web and used Goldwave (shareware I really need to register it) sound editor to change it to what you heard. Scan for goldwave and you should be able to find it. I used ULEAD studio's mediapro to put it all together and I love it. I've heard good things about prmiere and I imagine it's a matter of what you're used to. I've used Poser 3, Bryce 3, mediastudio pro, and softfx, cakewalk and goldwave and thus far and none of them is perfect. So far poser 4 is much better to work with and Goldwave was the most solid of the bunch. Does that answer all the questions? Arthur
YES! Thanks alot. It gives me a better understanding of what's out there for sure now. Now if only someone could help me figure out how to run my Adobe Premiere 5.1 all would be good in this world. Sadly the adobe forums are not as easily navigated as this great forum. Ug! I hate dealing with it and their tech help is off for the weekend. I keep getting this error message when I go to run it: The Dialog Manager failed to initialize, the system may have too many fonts installed or the file ADMPlugin.apl may be missing or damaged. Everytime I get this message the program fails to launch! I haven't been able to use it since I GOT it! Arrrg! I have uninstalled it, re-installed it, restarted, shutdown, etc. and nothing! Anyone out there have a clue? Technically it is a Poser/Bryce question since ultimately it will be used to piece movies and sounds from both those programs together. PAN~ (cursing adobe right about now)

I admit it. I cross posted, but this forum doesn't get the traffic that the other one does. Anyway check out Wolverine's passion.
