Good day everyone, I made a head texture and I'm curious if you are interested in this one so I made a demo head texture so you can try if you like it. the original size is 2000x2000. The demo texture size is 1250 x 1250 + bump map. Tell me if you are interested and I'll put it up for download :) ------------------------- rockadon

I AM!! The face on the map looks exactely as my father. Only he has been dead for 25 years. But the resemblance is STRIKING!!!! I WANT IT!!

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

ewww - ernyoka is it a recommendation that the texture looks like soemone who's been dead for 25 years? (this could produce a chuckle, disgust, or even sadness - let's hope for a chuckle shall we?). rockadon it looks super - look forward to seeing a download available :) Cheers, Cliff

In its flattened state (as it would appear in PhotoShop) it reminds me of the actor Tony Jay. Jay is probably noted more for his voice work in animation (like Megabyte in "Reboot"), but others may remember him as the villian Paracelsus from "Beauty and the Beast" (starring Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman).

I too find this texture has a lot of "character".

Sincerely,

Bill

Who wouldnt want it? ^.^.

Philywebrider ( ) posted Sun, 30 May 2004 at 10:48 AM

Question; are you uploading the 2000 x 2000 or the 1250 x 1250 demo. as far as I'm concerned you don't need the demo, just up-load real thing. Everyone on this thread loves your work.

Chas ( ) posted Sun, 30 May 2004 at 11:50 AM

Please also add me to the list -- I've been looking for something very much like this.

dorkati ( ) posted Sun, 30 May 2004 at 1:23 PM

It is very realistic! I like it! :)

you'll get the 1250x1250 like in the preview, here's another shot. I'll upload the texture tomorrow. ------------------- Rockadon

::blows kisses:: Thank you, thank you, thank you! Can't wait to try him out.

Here's another shot also the demo texture (1250x1250) bump setting is 35, don't use more than 40% in close up renders otherwise it'll look too harsh:) ---------------------------- Rockadon

freyfaxi ( ) posted Sun, 30 May 2004 at 4:55 PM

Looks wonderful..great to see a 'real' face..instead of the usual 'pretty boys' :) (Not that I have anything against 'pretty boys')grins

artnik ( ) posted Sun, 30 May 2004 at 9:38 PM

I just noticed, he hasn't any eyelashes yet. Is that something you'll be adding? He's still wonderful.

hauksdottir ( ) posted Sat, 05 June 2004 at 6:50 PM

It is... look for rockadon's other thread. The file is housed at Yahoo, and there is a bit of a hurdle to getting it.
