Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 11 2:56 am)
The Setup Room is about the easiest thing to use for Poser. The only other alternative that I know of is to create what is known as a PHI file, and then create a hierarchy from that. The instructions to do that are not really clear in the manual, but if you are interested in learning perhaps someone else can pipe in or direct you to a tutorial that explains the process.
there's a utility out there called Phi build..might be in Freestuff under utilities, or Poser then utilities..you get the picture..Dr. Geep has a tutorial on how to do it, something I must get around to one of these days..;)
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit
anahl nathrak uth vas betude doth yel dyenvey..;)

PHI builder works fine with Poser 5. You won't have to hassle one second in the setup room, Phi builder takes care of all the techie stuff. All you need to do is to line your groups up in the right order. There's a tutorial called poseable gingerbread man which uses PHI builder and explains very nicely how to make things poseable. It's dead easy.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Hi, folks. I was wondering if anyone knew of any program out there that makes 3D models posable in Poser, a la the Setup Room in Pro Pack, but easier to use? There's so much stuff I don't know about, so I thought I'd ask here. Thanks everyone!
