Hi.. Ive just got Poser 3, does anyone know where the best place is to get characters and other files. How do I stop it saying "Newer version than expected" and what is the objaction utility?

1: You're already on the best place. 2: There are some things you must change in PZ3 and CR2 files made in Poser 4 before you open in your Poser 3. 3: Probrably you're referring to Objaction Mover: an utility that allows you to distribute modified .OBJ files from Poser without copyright problems.

You might also want to add the Poser3.1 update: http://www.curiouslabs.com/previousUpdates.html I'm not sure if later releases of Poser3 were updated or not. The way you can tell if the update has been applied is if you can render an imported prop in OBJ format without throwing an "Error Code -50". If you do install the update make sure you do a fresh install of Poser3 from the CD first. -JH.
