I have absolutly no idea where to look for some FREE sci-fi gear (except on rederosity, and I didn't find what I was looking for). I need some personal sci-fi gear for V3... I got the CatSuit, so maybe some cool texture for that? Needs some sort of backpack too, metallic, like a cross between a jetpack and a scubadive of some sort...? A "laser-gun" with holster... maybe a helmet. I know this is a lot - maybe some of you can give me a link to a place with poser stuff, and I can just have a look myself. ;)

I just scoured runtimedna's free stuff. i seem to recall a good bit of sci-fi stuff there.

yeah - i actually just found runtimeDNA too ... some nice stuff, and I think I can use some of it. But please, anyone have something more...? :)

There are a bunch of free Star Wars blasters and lightsabers at Vanishing Point. I think they are even the original ones made by Dodger. There's some cool Aliens rifles there as well.

At vanishing point if you look in the freestuff star wars there are quite a few guns that could be used for a picture like the rebecca picture.

someone posted the 2001 helmet and backback in the Bryce forum recently, but another good source is theForce.net..especially for Star Wars..though they're branching out into Trek, etc. Check the Freebies here, they're searchable. I know Jeorge Weber has a space helmet, and there's a space suit for Mike as well..

There's a Free texture for the V3 Catsuit available from DAZ. Filename is ps_fr088_Spacepilot.exe but I don't have the full URL to hand.

Anyone know where I can find a helmet sort of like the one Leia wears in Return of the Jedi on Endor? By the way - I want to say that you guys are AMAZING !!! It's incredible so much help you have allready given me!

YES!!! Ney, those secondskin is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Very beautiful!!! Now I got the weapon, the suit with a couple "shoulderpads" aso ... got the boots. Hmmm ... still need a simple helmet (sorta like the one mentioned above from Star Wars) - and a packpack of some sorts... The backpack is suppose to be a machine of sorts - a portable "timemachine" or "transdimensional device"... :) Did I mention you guys ROCK!

Yes. The helmet is too big... I need a helmet more like a biking-helmet (with protection on top, and a strap belove the chin). The backpacks are cool - but not exactly what I'm looking for (I'm difficult - I KNOW!!!) , though the "simple" one comes more close than the other one. -thanks for the link! Oh boy ... I'm getting dizzy from going to all those sites! ;)

Lyrra - or anyone else: Now that I have found a backpack, ofcourse theres a problem! sigh When I open the "booster" (backpack) inside PoserPro, I can't move it around... only spin it (rotate z)... what's up with that? And the controls for it only says: "rotate z, size" ... that's it! ??? Anyone? :)

It looks like it was made to just work with michael, you could try exporting it and reimporting it to get the rotations etc back.

for templates you can make your own using Uvmapper (free) from uvmapper.com if its a cr2 you may need to select the Body to move it, or you can do as xantor suggested and export the obj and reimport as a solid prop.
