Subject: Three wishes

DJBlueprint ( ) posted Thu, 03 June 2004 at 10:07 AM ยท edited Fri, 02 August 2024 at 8:43 AM

Hi,
i have three wishes for features i like to have:

  • an automated email notification if an item i have on my wishlist is on sale

  • an automated email notification if the price of an item i have on my wishlist is permanent changed

I think this could bee good for vendors AND customers...

My last wish is to put down the minimum price from now $5 to $2 or $3 because i think often i see items that i would like to buy if they were just one dollar cheaper and 20 sells of $3 are better then 5 sells of $5 ... perhaps other members see that similar?

Regards
Sascha

Hi Sascha, Thanks for the suggestions. "an automated email notification if an item i have on my wishlist is on sale" Is on my list of enhancements to be implemented. "an automated email notification if the price of an item i have on my wishlist is permanent changed" I will have to evaluate this with the programmers. "put down the minimum price from now $5 to $2 or $3" Renderosity wont be going lower than our current $5.00 minimum. Clint

"an automated email notification if an item i have on my wishlist is on sale" Isn't this already in effect? I get notices like this recent one: Sent: Wednesday, June 02, 2004 6:47 AM Subject: DM's Throne Hall on Sale at Renderosity > > Dear Varian, > > Renderosity values you as a customer and we want to make you aware of great > buying opportunities as they become available. > > The above listed item on your Wishlist has been placed on sale! > Make sure you don't miss this fantastic offer. > > http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=28428 > > Thank you for supporting Renderosity. > The MarketPlace Team Am I just special? 0:)

You've always been very special Varian. (grin) I actually misread the request. Yes - Customers do currently get notification when a item on their wishlist goes on sale. What I was thinking about is for customers to get an E-Mail when an item on their wishlist goes into the Warehouse. Which is an automatic 25% discount...so in effect on sale. :) Thats what I will be looking into. Thanks brining this to my attention. I need to slow down and read SLOWLY. :) Clint

Aww, thanky Clint! (At least, I hope that's a good thing, lol.) :) And hey, a notice for an item going Warehouse is a good idea, too!
