Ditto to Tyger_purr's advice and also a big welcome to the Insanity Defense League International! I came here 6 months ago with no experience in 3D at all. I still ask "stupid" questions and get nothing but warm results and proper answers. I firmly believe there is no stupid questions, if you don't know the answer it's a viable question. Practice, practice, practice is the key. Don't try to start out too big, learn the basics first and then progress.
