Subject: I must be missing something obvious with the Princess of Elves textures

Ok ... I want to use the armor textures, I follow the instructions, click on the armor and there is no where that seems to come up in P5 that lets me pull in the .jpgs. I can use lots of materials from my materials library, but can't seem to find the textures (unless I assign a material and then swap the jpeg out in it).

What obvious point am I missing?

Thanks.

Look in this folder (C:Program FilesCurious LabsPoser 5RuntimelibrariesPoseBVH MATS). These mat poses will apply the textures to the various parts of the armour. you will need to select each armour piece individually to apply the mat pose to it.

Mine came with 1.69meg of Pose files to apply the textures and 2.12meg of textures. Try looking in your Pose Library and texture library. I don't know where they install by default as I can't allow products to do that or I'd NEVER find ANYTHING...

Amen to that Igohigh! :)

Thanks, found them, down in the pose library and moved them over to materials so I could grab them in my normal work flow. I like the set, works well to provide plate armor over scale where you would want the extra armor. Thanks again.

Online Now!

igohigh, those .pngs are what Pro-Pack and P5 use instead of the .rsr files, they aren't textures. I personally think merchants should just provide the .rsr files, it makes for slightly smaller downloads too, as Pro-Pack and P5 make their own .png files from them anyway. According to the readme for the product (which I just read in the Marketplace) the textures are in *RuntimeTexturesBVH TEXTURES where * is your Poser.
