I cannot possibly imagine how these thoughts would even remotly apply, but since windoze is a mysterious creature... 1. have you run a registry correction tool yet like Norton? Is the registry pointing files to the original drive? 2. there is a free tool called "correct reference". this should have NO effect on your problem, but worth a try. 3. read all the tuts on linking libraries. I've found that the procedures are different and the one in the Poser manual did NOT work for me but one of the website ones did. If you need help, IM me and I'll go searching, I'm sure I have it somewhere. 4. do you have more than 100 folders in your directory? If so, SR4 of P5 needs to have a manual xml change made to it so that they show up. I don't know about sr4.1. 5. if you uninstall and then run a registry cleaner then reinstall fresh, go to the latest SR before opening Poser. See if that helps. 6. have a cup of coffee, a realy YUPPIE type cup of coffee. You know, the kind of coffee that costs more than a fine dinner at a five star restaurant. Then repeat steps 1-5 above.

You do have it in the the right directory, meaning Curious LabsPoserRuntimeGeometries (or Libraries) right? Do you have little png's? Maybe you should reinstall the updates too if you haven't...Sharen

Are you running P5 (sorry, I missed the other thread) if not P4 and PP will not link to folders on a different drive.

If you're in Poser5, you have to go to the top of the Directories tabs and use the check mark or + (I can't remember which) to add new directories. I just moved my runtimes from a groaning 120 gig external hard drive to an almost half full new 200 gig external hard drive. After moving the files, I had to add them back in within Poser5.

Are you 100% sure your files are in for following order? RUNTIME -Geometries -Libraries --Cameras --Character --Face --Hair --Lights --Props -Textures Poser is extremely picky about file names and locations

yep but they on e drive poser on f drive

My poser is on C drive. It is happier there. I know the V3, etc., stuff won't work if the injection files aren't with the P5 original runtime. Try moving Poser itself back to C:/ but leave your runtimes on E:/ and see if that works. If not, I'm out of ideas...
