He used Max 5, and it's his 1st model for poser. Great job really. There is a seem that runs down the barrel that is a bit odd, could be jpg compression or somethin dunno. Like the texture job ya did, seeing the 1st post and this finished texture I like how ya did the butt of the stock, texture came out really nice. Congrads on the whole thing.

Great work. One suggestion would be to make the metallic parts (assuming they're metallic) shiny. Like with a chrome reflection map and some different highlight settings. And maybe do something a little more interesting with the texture on that green part of the sight. But still it looks great, seems like you've got a productive prop making career ahead of you.
