Subject: how does vue compare to bryce?

I only use bryce, but vue looks like a huge upgrade over bryce. What are the pros and cons? Does vue support what bryce does and basically do the same? if so should i switch over?

nesibus, there is a lot of information to this issue in our Backroom. Look at the link in the banner, open that and rummage in there. We collected a lot of information regarding this issue already. It is something that comes up often, as you can imagine.

Used Bryce for yrs and then used Vue for yrs...loved them both, but you have to remember that Vue has a future where as Bryce's future looks bleak at best and dead at worse (which is a massive shame). This has to be a a very important consideration for any digital artist if they use (or want to use Bryce), because they are stuck with the same tools for possibly ever more. I suppose one could say they will always use Bryce, even if there is no more investment into it, but consider this - how many people do you see seriously using an old Amiga to create their graphic creations now. Cheers
