There are times when I get really frustrated at this program...... I tried out that tut by Calyxa on terrain tiling which was posted below... I don't know why, but there are disparities in it that I just can't fix! I did it twice, and I'm fairly sure I followed the directions correctly, but somehow that middle terrain just doesn't connect with the others at all. I wonder if it's because the middle terrain is the one I started with in the tiling process The rest seem to line up easily enough. Any assistance is heartily appreciated!

Start from the upperleft most terrain, and that will take care of it.

Calyxa's tutorial does work. I have used both terrain tiling varients to perfect success.

*BUT - You must start your first tile, and not stop. You can NOT start a tile, save/re-open the scene and start again, etc, etc.

Once you start with your first tile you MUST continue on until you feel you have enough terrains.

*ALSO - Keep a serious focus on the what terrain you are on, and what direction you need to go, it is VERY easy to get that mixed up.

I, too use the "ever-expanding" pattern. Just remember; *When tiling, do nothing else in Bryce but tile. *Mind your tile number/position, and what direction you need to go. *Your first tile must be straight out of a fractal preset, it can't be modified or customized in any way. AS

Lol, I remember when I first tried it, I did it a handful of times, and couldn't get it to work. Tackled it a few days later and got it. I think it's like riding a bike.... AS
