Subject: Extracting RDNA Hair Mats zip

chloe008uk ( ) posted Thu, 17 June 2004 at 1:33 PM · edited Sat, 11 January 2025 at 12:09 AM

Hello,

I've just downloaded some free Hair MATs from RDNA.

It instructs me to extract it directly to my Poser 5 directory, but I always freak myself out worrying I'll extract it to the wrong place.

Where should these files go? Poser 5/Runtime/Libraries/Hair/Poser 5 Hair/Dynamic Hair? or somewhere else?

Thanks in advance.

Chloe

If the readme says you should extract it to your Poser 5 directory, then you should extract it to... your Poser 5 directory. It allready has the proper folders in the zip so it will place the stuff right for you.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

If you'd rather place them manually, I believe they go under "Materials." Just make a folder for them, and put the files there.

Thank you for your help. I ended putting them in Downloads/Runtime etc..../Materials and am able to select them in the program. Curiously, the MATs do not take to "Skull Caps", however they work fine with dynamic hair. Too bad. A "Skull Cap" is a hands base to start from. Chloe

you should extract them to the poser 5 directory. Poser 5:/ or poser 5/ whichever comes up.
