Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 23 1:20 pm)
I'm not 100% sure, but I think this has more to do with your Page File settings for your computer than Poser the Program. I don't know how to do it, but I know it can be done. You can increase the Page File maximum. When rendering with Firefly, I've noticed that it's not Processor speed that spikes, but Page File Usage. Someone who is cleverer than me will hopefully post an instruction on how to adjust your Computer Settings to increase your PF maximum. Hope that points you in the right direction. Chloe

On Curious Labs' site, see the link entitled 'Poser 4 can't render high resolution images. Error appears "Insufficient disk space to render"' - There are instructions there. Also - After working on a scene with lots of textures in it, restart Poser before working on a new scene. This clears the textures out of memory. Consider installing Poser on its own drive. Defragment regularly. Best of luck! This is one of those errors that tends to recur for no apparent reason. :(This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Anybody know how to set the size of the memory cache poser4 has to work with? I currently have over 12Gig free for poser to work with but it keeps saying it does not have enough memory free to render the pictures I am attempting to render. After rendering about 2 to three picturess I keep having to go and clean out my metacreations and Poser folder so I can render more later. Was just wondering how if possible to change the cache size.
