Subject: looking for a leather jacket for Vicky

randym77 ( ) posted Fri, 18 June 2004 at 9:44 AM · edited Wed, 12 February 2025 at 6:05 PM

Any of the Vickys, including the PT. Or SP.

I want a biker-type jacket, not the sleek, skin-tight type. I need it to be open all the way down the front. It doesn't have to close. Anyone seen anything like this, free or pay?

Thip's Multilook jacket for Vicki (1/2), maybe? It works well for me with a bump map made from a generic leather texture. Reasonably priced, too...

Hmmm. That might do. I'll be using it in P5, so I can probably add a leather texture and some shiny bits in the Material room.

billy-t has an open leather jacket for Victoria 1-2 here in the Marketplace, although it might be a bit too sleek for your purposes. He also has a nice open denim jacket for Victoria 3 over at DAZ, if you feel like creating your own leather texture.

Have a look at the new clothes pack for Vic3/SP3 at Daz. Got a nice looking jacket in it. SWAMP

There is also The Hear me Roar Biker set for S3/V3 at DAZ

Thanks for all the suggestions. They are nice looking, but I was hoping for something tougher and looser, like this pic.

Didn't Dodger do a cycle jacket for Mike? Maybe he's got one for Vicky.

Dodger did a biker jacket for Mike, and Billy-T did one for Vicky, but neither of them seems to be in the store any more.

There's this thing at DAZ, not exactly like the picture above though -

Try Teppan's Race Queen Jacket. It has the "heavy duty look" you want. The site is down now, but hopefully it will be back up soon.

Thanks for all the tips! I ended up using Dodger's M2 jacket, tweaked and scaled. (It really is a nice-looking item.)

Cute pic! (and, don't I recognise that lovely hair?) :D

It's Morphography's Flo II hair. Are you the one who made it?

EnglishBob ( ) posted Mon, 21 June 2004 at 3:00 AM

The very same. For some reason I get a kick out of seeing people put it to use. :D

Wow, I had no idea it was you behind Morphography. The Flo hair is one of my favorites. A very pretty, classic style. One of Poserdom's best-kept secrets, IMO. :-)
