Where can I find, or how do I make a really superb starfield that can be used in Bryce4. Thanks Warder348 warder348@hotmail.com

Try Universe by Diard Software. http://www.diardsoftware.com/. I understand there's another program called Starbits 7 but I don't have a link and I've never tried it. Universe even has a beta plugin for Photoshop or any other program that uses photoshop plugins. Jade

I've used Starbits quite often and I like it. You can get it here http://members.nbci.com/echomag/starbits/. There are also tutorials and star and galaxy textures there as well. TL

Look in the Bryce Freestuff for the Articulate StarField by Wolfie. It's beautiful

how did you make that fantastic planet texture? It's the best I've ever seen.

Fasttraxx, Love your Mars and ship. Can you give any more details on how you made it? Jade

The planet is actually a planetary map a fan made of tatooine(Star Wars) and contributed to the Staw Wars Modeling Alliance(SWMA-http://www.swma.net/). What I did was make a greyscale bump map of the image in Photoshop then applied them to a sphere in Bryce, setting ambience at 0, diffusion at 100 and bump to 3.3, I created a 2nd sphere in the same location and scaled it a little bigger than the first and ,went into the materials lab and set the diffuse color to a light blue, set ambience high)for the glow) and then set its shading mode to fuzzy to get the atmosphere effect.
