if close counts (and it usually does) just make your own in the terrain editor - easy to scan or google up some topo of the area you want - import it into the editor and clip as needed added> you can export your terrain into freeware Wings 3D for tweaking - just invert once its in there and invert before exporting out as 3ds or obj (obj allows you to make a multi-material terrain) there's lots of ways to get what you want - just takes a bit of practice

Dear all, this is my first post here, and I am very pleased to have found you all. Just getting to grips with Vue D'esprit 4 - its amazing though. Purpose of this post is to ask if anyone knows where I can get terrain data for the Holy Land (Israel mostly, but also mount Sinai in Egypt). I am doing a series of six videos about the biblical mountains. I've been searching in vain for anything free. I simply cant afford the cost of the commercial DEM's out there - not yet anyway.
