Billy Mercer, who is known as Ironhart here, has passed away. He's the talented man who made the lovely cottages many of us have used in our renders. He was a very kind man, we exchanged many IMs; he will be greatly missed.

This is such sad news. I read about it first in RDNA and could not believe it till I read the main post. I remember speaking with him a couple of years back. I am at a loss for words, this is such a huge loss to this community. He was a kind and gentle man. His loss will effect us all. I am truly sorry to hear this and my heart goes out to his family and friends. Sharen

Oh, this are really sad news. I only bought one of his cottages some weeks ago and thought of him the last weeks. Of course all my condolences to his family and friends. Walther

My deepest sympathy to his family, I am going through the same thing although Dan was only 20 when he died on Monday.

Thank you for your sympathies, Dans funeral is tomorrow, but where I'm going to get the strength from I do not know.
