what no one is saying is that michael is not free. On occasion you can find lo-res versions of Mike 1 on CD's in certain magazines and such, but the figure is not a freebie by any stretch. The same applies to victoria. Both are available at the new evil empire: www.daz3d.com

Register at DAZ. Eventually, they will offer you free downloads of the low-res Mike and Vicky models.

A British company - "Future Publications" does a several excellent mags with CD & DVD content versions. 3D World and Computer Arts are the most likely to have Poser figures offered. Check their websites for back issue content. It's not free, but it'll get you good figures to start out, and I'm pretty sure I've seen versions of DAZ's Victoria and Michael on theirs. I think the latest 3D World I've gotten (#52?) has Dina V & a several other DTG Studios catalog items on it. An excellent Value. (Hmmm ,,, reminds me my subscription is about up - off to renew,,,,,)

I use Mac OS, so I don't know much about spyware or malware. However, when I clicked on the link, I got all kinds of pop-ups and cookies, and an attempt by the server to save a file called "welcome" on my machine. I escaped from the site before any damage was done (I hope), but I didn't have a chance to see if it was a warez site or whatever.

yup..that's where I got V-Lo and Mi-Lo (lo-res Vicky and Mike, and it's just my pet names for them..;) from Computer Art (who btw, have had Dina recently, which is also a good model to have, and comes with clothes as well..hint hint Daz..;) you should be able to get back issues..or just watch for them to come around again..also 3d World, Digit may have the same things, they tend to come around each in turn..;)
as for malware -as long as you don't get 'about:blank' as a home page, or have 'coolweb search' come up..you're doing ok..heaven help you if you do..I should know..

The thing dagon wrote wasnt too nice, michael 1 lorez has been free already with a cd and so casdious maybe thought that one could be downloaded free, it doesnt always mean that they are asking for warez even if it looks like they are.

I got both Lo-res Mike 1 and Lo-res V1 as free downloads from Daz a while back. It was apromotional offer and it's always possible they may offer them again...

And where can I find Vicky 5????

Vicky 5 will probably be for daz studio and bryce only if daz is still in business that far into the future.
