Subject: Renderosity Webring

Hello, I hope I am posting this question in the right forum, but if not, please don't move it without telling me so that I know for the future ;o) I joined the Renderosity webring last week and a few minutes ago, I decided to browse through the ring to see other websites. So I went to my website and clicked on Previous site... okay, so far so good. Then I wanted to click on Previous site again but there was no webring link on that site. I thought we were supposed to put that link on our main page? My question is this: who should I talk to about that website? France

Doesn't do any good...I started going through the webring a couple of months ago. R'osity doesn't require the full webring code to be placed on member sites...as long as there's a referral link, they consider that okay. So, the webring doesn't work the way a webring's supposed to. Speaking of which, will someone remove my site from the webring, please? http://dragondigitalis.com I'm removing the webring code from my index page...it doesn't generate but a few hits a month, so it's just taking up space. Thanks.

Well then what is the use of having a webring if the ring is broken right at the start? France

I have no idea...I had the same question. I tried to point out that a webring only works the way it's meant to if all members have the full and proper webring code on their sites. But, R'osity prefers to not enforce it, so therefore, they have a webring that isn't a real webring. shrug

Thank you, Melissa. Though it was kind of funny to get the following: Hello, Your webring submission to Renderosity has been denied due to one of the following reasons below: -Non art-related site -Money making schemes -Click brokering -Link exchanges -Sites Under Construction -Pornographic site -A site with a primary focus on images of rape, torture, sexual acts, or physical arousal If you need additional information, please feel free to contact admin@renderosity.com. You are always welcome to resubmit to Renderosity's webring once the issues above are resolved. Thank you Renderosity Staff when my site has been on the webring for well over a year, lol. But, thanks, anyway.

Hey, That is what goes out when deleting a webring. I will have someone add something that just says your site was removed per your request. Sorry about that... Have a good day, Melissa
