Up for sale at BBay if anyone's interested; just look under Undecided Directions. Makes a great halloween figure or fairy picture extra, for those familiar with Frouds works. =) ML

It is so beautiful. I envy your talent :)

Nesterenko: Unfortunately for a character this complex, I wouldn't have been able to do it if I were to give it away for free. The time taken to produce this would have had to be spent doing something else that would make money. Am not independantly wealthy. =( It took quite a bit of work to produce, and the price is fairly low I think for what it includes... fully articulated character with expressions, texture and bump, branches prop ect. Those renders came right out of Poser with no touchup. ML

Great Work. Just order it at BBAY Thanks Claude

That's a neat character, a bit specialized so it would definitely be an impulse buy item for me. I just wish it was in Zygote's store 'cause it's too much hassle at BBay. I'm normally an impulse buyer and when the impulse strikes, be it 7:00pm on Saturday or 3:00AM on Sunday morning, joining some group, waiting on approval turns me off so I've never bought anything at BBay despite being interested in items I've seen advertised there in the past. I can't get past that sign up page, just turns me totally cold to have to get yet another password, another site storing my personal info, yada yada yada When I take the time to fill out info at Zygote, I know in a few minutes I'll be playing with whatever it is I am buying, that's the satisfaction of an impulse buy. I spend plenty $$$ at Zygote because they deliver immediately and don't even make you sign up for any membership to buy, no passwords either 'cause I have never created an "account" with them because I don't want or need to. I type in the info one order at a time and that's the way (uh huh uh huh) I like it.(uh huh uh huh) (I'm hoping you're old enough to know the song...) ;-) I have the same problem with Vista Internet Products where there's some great models but I have to wait on a CD to be shipped for an internet order?? Doesn't make any sense to me to make people wait on a CD, figure that should be an option not the only method. I have high speed access, I have a CDRW, Zip and LS120 disks to save downloads on, I don't want to wait on a CD - I want it NOW! Because I won't get my instant gratification, I haven't bought anything there either. Other folks might have the patience to deal with those stores but not me. Just wanted to let ya know why I won't buy the character even though I think it's really nice.

diana : Well I am not sure, but I believe the process at Bbay is fairly expediant, as I seen messages from people who already have it and working with it, and the store front has been up barely a day. There are good things about it being on BBay, pricing being one of those. The artist/seller ratio at Bbay is better, allowing it to be lower in price. I am sorry it seems like a hassle to you where its sale is hosted. I wish I could help. =

i have never had problems at bbay, i ordered it and in less then 10 minutes i was done downloading, yes its a password site but they always have given me good service , just as zygote does. :o)

I beleive the PayPal method is fairly fast. I dunno if you are in the U.S. or not. ML

Y'all have a great day.

Anton_Kisiel ( ) posted Sat, 21 October 2000 at 9:08 PM

Beautiful Facial expression. It's really cool. Anton FYI, People have asked me why I'm Bbay instead of Zygote. In short, Zygote's percentage is just too low. Bbay's process may seem complicated but it really isn't. It is designed to protect us from the slew of people who ripped them off early on by using stolen credit cards. Many people lost out, especially the artists.

What a FANTASTIC looking model. Most impressive, great expressions. Cool hands, everything. Totaly well done. Peace and Creativity Chris

nitreug ( ) posted Sun, 22 October 2000 at 11:39 AM

Diane, If you give your credit card number the first time you sign up then when you buy something at BBAY, you just sent an e-mail to Sherry Bryson to approve to use your credit card and you get the model very fast, the same day often. I understand you that when you are ready to buy, you do not want to wait. I am exactly like that. I still prefer the way Zygote is running their store or here also. What is the address of Vista Internet Products, never heard about them? Claude

Claude, it's http://www.vistainternetproducts.com/

Hmm I don't understand what you mean. There is a fully textured version of the .cr2 file included. I opened Poser having used the exact same file in the distribution to install the character, opened the pre-textured character, chose rendered and it came out with the above picture. The branch texture (Branch Texture.jpg) only applies to the prop file that adds the etra branches to the head, not the character. The character itself has its own color and bumpmap labelled Treant Texture.jpg and Treant Bump.jpg . Those contain all the color and bump information for the main figure. Perhaps I am not understanding the problem. ML P.S. feel free to email me directly at mallenlane@home.com

NP, I just want to make sure no one has any problems with it =). And thanks for the compliment, I am glad you like it. ML

Hello MallenLane It is working fine. It was on my site. I was using UD Treant instead of UD Treant T (with texture) Thanks Claude
