Can we please get a testers forum so when merchants need a tester they can post the request there, or people who are willing to be testers can post there?

that's such a great idea...I think a forum like that would get a lot of response...I'm sure there are a lot of people willing to be testers but if you don't associate with a lot of artists it would be considerably harder to find those willing to test a product...a forum would make the process a whole lot easier...Jenn

I think there are also some regular testers, like Laetia in the Mac forum, who is the person who tests Mac versions of items.

Beta testers are easy to get- a great beta tester on the other hand is kept as a closly guarded secrete- lol It is so very easy as a tester if you know what your doing to become overwelmed with products to test. So most of the best merchants have there own secrete testers and won't be willing to give them up. If you ask in one of the forums for someone to test something for you, you will get a dozen responses- but it's usually from those just trying to get something for free.

...and that's why it's best to first create a freestuff product and find beta-testers for it. They get nothing in return so they must be really interested in testing the product. Later when you want people to beta-test a commercial product you know who to contact. You're at the top of my list, Geo. =)
