Subject: Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro compatability questions

I don't own photoshop, and have only recently purchased Paint Shop Pro 8, which I am learning. I know already that PSP8 can open a photoshop file with all of its layer information intact: Is the reverse true? If I write out a PSP8 file with multiple layers, will photoshop users be able to access those layers in the image? Are there version limits? (i.e. only the latest photoshop can handle images from the latest PSP)? All info appreciated.

Well Photoshop doesn't read the native PSP file, but if you save your file to Photoshop's format (PSD),it should work. Might want to try the Tiff format also,as that is pretty universal. Best thing would be to DL the Photoshop demo, and see which file formats will work between the two. SWAMP
