Subject: "Out of Memory" on import

I am unable to open many .obj 3ds and dxf models in B4.1 that I create in Poser4.03. I get an "out of memory" error. These are small models, under 5mb. I can open many other larger (15mb) models NOT created in Poser. HELP!!

I also encounter errors with poser imports... I can open 500 meg files that are 100% Bryce, but if I have one obj from poser, occasionally I get an error (not the one you mention..but one similar). I upgrade windows to winME to see if I could dodge the error, thus far it has worked fine. BT

I'm on a Mac, and have fixed it today by DOWNGRADING to Poser 4.0! I checked it by upgrading again to 4.03, but got the error again, so I'm back to the Meta version, and now opening my obj files. Sorry Curious....Your version sucks! Now where is that 4.02 update? HELP!!

I've never "upgraded" from the metacreations, so I haven't run into that. Where I seem to get those the most is opening a downloaded figure into poser4. Actually just dropped in to say: Nice image, inyerface.
