Just a quick poll for all the posette users! Between the variations that exist (eve, possete 2003,remmaped to V2,yamato's models) * which one you have tryed? * which one you use the most and why? * From the existing models what features would make the best combination for a better posette?

ockham ( ) posted Mon, 28 June 2004 at 9:12 AM

I use the standard Posette a lot... haven't tried any of those variations, but the one thing I'd love to see in a compatible model is more facial complexity. (More vertices in the face, shaped to make natural expressions work better.) The body is OK for my purposes.

I rarely use Posette anymore since V2/V3 and now StephanieMAX but when I do I prefer Eve4 and Posette2003. Eve4 is GREAT but some clothes are hard to fit and Posette2003 is Great for all others.

I use the basic out-of-the-box Posette more than anything. I have two favorite textures I use quite frequently: Katie by KateTheShrew, and Trash by User601 [examples in my Poser Gallery here at RO]. I seldom use the Posette models by Yamato since the release of his V2 versions, but the Posette versions are still on my HD. The new Eternal Posette looks promising, and I have used most versions of Eve at one time or another.

I've used them all - I use the P4VSkin and Posette 2003 the most though.

I use the morphed Poserworld Posettes almost exclusively when I do use that lady.

I used to use Ultramorph woman 3 a bit.

I use the regular posette quite abit. Got some nice textures for her and face morphs. Really like how the Posette2003 poses and love the fact I can use any V2 texture on AprilYSH remapped version. If Posette2003 took V2 textures it would be my favorite! Must still be able to use Posette face morphs though. Could also lose the always highheel feet.

Posette 2003 -- and Jim Burton keeps saying he'll give the P4guy the same treatment: still waitin', Jim!

I've made a combination of some of the above. It started out with Posette but with Yamato's characters and their UNBEATABLE joint set up - which can just be switched on or off with poses depending on whether you're clothing her or not. This cr2 was then edited to reference AprilYSH remapped P4VSkin which gives me much more variety at higher resolutions than Posette. Also, my customized Posette has lash props instead of transparencies (courtesy of Mr Yamato again) and eyebrow props (from Traveler) and is LOADED with morphs (again by the Morph master, Traveler). Finally, added to all this was Staale's Body Morpher morphs which expanded Posette's possibilities even more. Here are some faces I've made for Posette. But I use all the figures and all this talk of Posette has me thinking I should take her out again soon and make an image - it's been a while :) My last posting with Posette was over two years ago!

Oops, forgot to mention - she also has eye props instead of using the default Posette eyes (taken from one of the Eve incarnations) and I grouped the polys in her nose to give her a nostril material as well. Think she can rival Vicki?

Online Now!

My all-time favorite Posette is the old Destiny Character by Predator2k. It's the only one I've ever used in a pic in my Gallery here. (The sleeping Viking maid in the Runaways pic). Destiny was a Free character I got here, as I recall.

A variant on Yarp's Eve-Posette mutant, with Vicky 1's head, Mason's hi-res chest, and adapted V3 JP's. Fronkensteen!

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

I have used: Basic Posette Eve 2 Eve 3 Eve 4 (usually remapped by me) Ultrawoman 2 Morphette Bodymorpher (think that's the right name) Latexa Latexa 2 (don't like much) Of the above, the one I tend to use the most these days is Eve 3. Often I will make the head with Ultrawoman or Bodymorpher and then export a single morph target to Eve 3. Eve 4 is harder to dress because of the Vicky-like chest configuration.

I agree with winter200 I like posette 2003 but prefer the remapped version... The posette in this image is based on the remmaped version. I've smoothen the brow area as much as I could and made new eyes with cornea, also lacrimals as seperate body parts... New teeth would be great too but I don't have the skills for that... Also the brow area needs to be re-aranged to take the V2 textures better... pitklad

Where does Eternal Posette fit into the list of "Posettes"?
