Subject: So easily amused

Conjuring up an image in Poser is paramount to willowing through the Grimoire, particularly where the manual is concerned. Both seem steeped in mystery waiting to be unlocked.

In the meantime, Aubrey Magnus finds himself easily amused.

Thank you. Now, if I could but learn the spell to interject quantum mechanics into a looped animation. Thus, like water droplet from a faucet, the dropping ball would on occasion inexplicitly deviate from what seems a certain and perpetual motion. Perhaps, if truth be known, dare I watch long enough - just such a thing might happen.

Your animation is very cute and somehow fascinating (I keep watching it to see if he will miss once! It is 2:30am here and I tell you, if he doesn't miss soon, I'll hit him with the ball! loll France

and some will snicker quietly behind their hands... Excellent animation! :)

thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)

You are using Poser 5, right? Then you can use Python scripts, and Ockham has made some good ones, a gravity one, among others, that would allow your ball to bounce nicely. He has also made a script (the name eludes me right now) that I think you could use for something like a dripping faucet (and I have a nice free faucet on my homepage ;o) ) Yeah, Saxon. Thirteen for sure :o)

I guess I am easily amused too. I like this. LOL! Though it seems to drag a little on my laptop. Sometimes runs okay, and sometimes seems to "sputter". So, maybe there's the QM you were looking for? :O)

Hehee! Love it! Great job!!!!

Again, I thank you all.

Saxon - 13? Ah, you guess my lucky number. As it so happens, I was born on the 13 day, of the 13 month Nasie, in the 13 year of the Saturn ascending, when the 13 moon of Jupiter was full. ;O)

ernyoka1 - the python scripts sound most intriguing. Thank you for the link, and for the offer of the the faucet. I will certainly pay a visit shortly to your home page. :O)

For those of you who think me mad, perhaps it is so. For those of you who like to think outside the narrow confines we choose to call reality, here are a couple of links you might find equally amusing - not Poser related per se, unless you wish to attempt some Quantum Physics of your own.
