THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: HELP,PLEASE! Bryce experts...:) nView Desktop Manager&Bryce

softcris ( ) posted Sun, 04 July 2004 at 9:18 AM · edited Thu, 13 February 2025 at 6:44 AM

I got a dual display windonws on my desktop (using a NvidiaFX -nView DesktopManager) which runs perfect well with all programs but not Bryce, seems that I can't get Bryce to behave as I wanted using this perfomance. What to do? Normally I got a nView bar on top of every software so I can mange it the way I wanted but it does not shows in Bryce and I can't move Bryce's 'active' windown inside(where we work) so my work get splited in two instead of the way I use to do, Tools one side and active-work space in the other side(side=monitor)any adives or sugestions? I got this problem for about a year and so I'm not usiung Bryce so much because of that issue. Thanks to you all that can help me on that.

This may not be what you need, but this thread does discuss using 2 monitors with Bryce. Sorry I don't have any experience with this.

well if you can't move bryce on the other monitor, leave it there, and just move the other work :)

mr. softcris, i used to have a computer with a graphics card that supported nview, yes. And while i haven't used bryce with it, i have performed other functions in which it was possible to do what i just said. regardless of that, the smiley face at the end should have tipped you off on the thing being a bit of a joke. kthx. drac

Works just fine for me. I have nview, but I don't use the desktop manager.

Bryce does not support duel monitors, it doesn't work like 3dstudio or Maya. 8) This is one of the things being asked for in the Bryce wishlist over at DAZ. 8)
