Subject: Bug in the IM delete 'routine' ?

well, I noticed the note that said IMs were being deleted if over 6 minths old, so I decided to go and delete some of my saved IMs. ;-)

Had a quick look at the HUGE pile I had archived (sorry!!!) and decided 'what the heck' let's get rid of all of them. So I hit the "delete all messages shown above" link (that's in the archived messages page). Well, some of them were deleted but not all. ;-) All message that are archived copies of IMs I myself have sent to others are still there and I've tried the "delete all message" again - they're not getting deleted. :-/

Shouldn't they have gotten deleted as well?

And... is there another way for me to delete them all, other than clicking the delete link on every single one, I mean?

I posted my question in Mod forum. By whatever tragic mishap, I had no knowledge of this 6 month deletion thing would happen. (most likely for not seeing a "note" about this months ago, I assume) I have lost tons of important saved IM's.
