Subject: Where to post?

Two questions from a Newbie 1. A piece of artwork based on original photographs, but heavily processed so that it is no longer photo-realistic. Should it be posted in Photography, 2D or Mixed Media? 2. And should I be asking this question in the forums, or directly to the moderator?

In here. Some people think that postworked photos belong in Mixed Mediium or 2D.But most galleries have so much of other apps in them who really knows.

Where ever you feel it's appropriate to post it. The only rule we have about posting images into the photography gallery is the photography be all yours. Images that contain 3D elements, lots of clip art or are derived from stock photos or royalty free cds, are routinely moved to the appropriate galleries..... But otherwise it's all ok... :~)

I am, therefore I create.......

All great answers. One thing to keep in mind is the audience, Often manipulations are more appreciated in "2D" or "Mixed." The only thing we really do not allow here is derivations from copyrighted works, 3D, clip art, etc. [Like Michelle said.] It should start with your original photo.
