Thanks, Sixus !! You are most generous and talented. Small problem here - when I clicked the link, I got an error page "phpBB: Critical Error - Could not connect to the database".

TygerCub ( ) posted Sun, 11 July 2004 at 6:34 AM

I can't connect to sixus1 website at all, even using a direct link to the main site. A screen flashes up for a second that tries to point the brouser towards the forums, but the same error message pops back up.

I get this error when I try to go to sixus1's forum: phpBB : Critical Error Could not connect to the database That's actually quite a common error with forums, no doubt it'll be fixed soon. Can't wait to try out the new figure!

sirkrite ( ) posted Sun, 11 July 2004 at 7:07 AM

I keep getting this. ::phpBB : Critical Error Could not connect to the database :: :(

xantor ( ) posted Sun, 11 July 2004 at 7:11 AM

I get that critical error too.

TygerCub ( ) posted Sun, 11 July 2004 at 7:48 AM

I tried backtracking through the order page (love their grey aliens!) but it appears the whole site is down. Since their store site is hosted by someone else, maybe the entire sixus server is down?

sirkrite ( ) posted Sun, 11 July 2004 at 8:25 AM

It's working now! :)

pakled ( ) posted Sun, 11 July 2004 at 8:27 AM

it's working for me, even with my crappy wireless link..;) Thank you very much, for all the instructions, clothes off the bat (a lot of other folks just give you someone with their nubblies hanging out..;), great work..keep it up..

The announcement and release were made around 5AM EST, which is, unfortunately, around the time that our host often does maintenance on the servers. Please try again and let us know your results. If any problems persist, we will take action to rectify them immediately, though it would appear that all systems are working properly now. Thanks. -Les

MachineClaw ( ) posted Sun, 11 July 2004 at 8:09 PM

Great model, still can not believe it's free. Thank you again for your generosity.

sixus1 ( ) posted Sun, 11 July 2004 at 10:50 PM

Believe it. Here is why. We want to make cool stuff. We don't make things to support DAZ figures (doesn't matter why, it is just a fact). So, why should we expect everyone to buy a ANOTHER set of human figures just to use our stuff ? Also, Les makes figures that he likes to use. Simple. :) Thanks to all of you who tool the time to say thank you here, at our site and in the emails. If you need anything, we are only an email away: Rebekah@sixus1.com or llgarner@sixus1.com --Rebekah--

Oops, where are my manners? I forgot to say thank you! Many thanks, always nice to see someone prepared to break away from Daz :b

queri ( ) posted Mon, 12 July 2004 at 4:38 PM

Thank you so much for another wonderful stylish figure-- I swear all of yur figures-- behemoth, Trixie, minotaur all have a painterly look when rendered that is cooler than cool. they also all move like a dream. Born leaping forward as it were-- ready to pounce! Emily
